Caykur Rizespor vs Fenerbahce – Free Football Prediction – 10/10/2026

Caykur Rizespor vs Fenerbahce: ten points each, built in completely different ways Super Lig

Rizespor have ten points from six Super Lig games. Every single one of them was earned on the road. At the Caykur Didi Stadium, they’ve played two, lost two, and haven’t scored. That’s the oddity at the centre of Saturday’s game against Fenerbahce, kick-off 18:00 Paris time.

On the table, it’s level. Fenerbahce are also on ten points, separated from their hosts only by goal difference. But the routes there couldn’t be more different. Rizespor have scored seven and conceded six. Fenerbahce have scored 16, eight of them in one afternoon against Eyupspor.

The head-to-head is where the gap really opens up. Fenerbahce are unbeaten in 14 meetings with Rizespor, a run that included 13 straight wins before April’s 2-2 draw. Across the last nine meetings, the aggregate score reads 35-8.

Recep Ucar’s side do have a genuine strength, and it’s worth naming. Only six goals conceded in six league games, a record bettered by just Kocaelispor and Kasimpasa. That’s a defence that’s earned some respect.

The problem? Half of those six goals came in their two home defeats. Break down the numbers and a clear edge emerges for the visitors.

Caykur Rizespor: road warriors with no home goals Caykur Rizespor

A 0-2 loss to Samsunspor, then a 0-1 loss to Alanyaspor. That’s Rizespor’s home record this season in full. Two games, zero goals, zero points, and neither opponent is anywhere near Fenerbahce’s level.

Away from Rize, it’s a different team entirely. They won 1-0 at Konyaspor, 2-1 at Gaziantep and 2-0 at Eyupspor, then came within a stoppage-time penalty of beating Goztepe before settling for 2-2. Ibrahim Olawoyin and Iustin Doicaru turned that one around in the second half. The away form is real. The home form takes some explaining.

They did use the break well, beating Boluspor 3-0 in a friendly at home with all three goals after half-time. Useful, but friendlies against second-tier opposition don’t tell you much about what happens when Kante and Guendouzi are in the other midfield.

Team news hurts. Valentin Mihaila is serving a two-match ban after a red card for a serious foul at Eyupspor, Khusniddin Alikulov is out with a cruciate ligament injury, and Qazim Laci is doubtful with a muscle problem. Losing Mihaila takes one of their more direct attacking threats off the pitch.

History in Rize makes for uncomfortable reading as well. Look at Fenerbahce’s last four league visits: 6-0, 3-1, 5-0 and 5-2, all away wins. Nineteen goals conceded by Rizespor in those four home games. That’s the shadow hanging over Saturday.

Ali Sowe, with three league goals, should lead the line. He’ll need service that Rizespor haven’t produced at home all season.

Fenerbahce: erratic results, but the attack is firing Fenerbahce

Ismail Kartal’s side haven’t been consistent. A 2-1 defeat at Genclerbirligi on the opening weekend, a 2-1 home loss to Besiktas, a goalless draw at Gaziantep. Three results that don’t fit a club with this squad.

And yet the attack keeps landing heavy blows. Fenerbahce beat Konyaspor 4-2, won 2-0 at Samsunspor, then put eight past Eyupspor in their last league outing before the break. Sixteen goals in six games. Their average across the last ten matches in all competitions sits at 2.2 per game.

The squad tells you why. Ederson in goal, Milan Skriniar and Nathan Ake at centre-back, N’Golo Kante and Matteo Guendouzi in midfield, Mason Greenwood, Irfan Can Kahveci and Kerem Akturkoglu supplying Vedat Muriqi. Rizespor can’t match that on paper or on the pitch.

There are absences. Mert Muldur is recovering from a meniscus injury, Jayden Oosterwolde has an Achilles problem, and Amara Diouf is unavailable. Marco Asensio, though, is pushing for a start after playing in the 2-0 friendly win over Turan Tovuz during the break.

Their average of 2.2 goals per game across the last ten matches isn’t padded by one result either. Fenerbahce have scored in five of six league games, and the only blank came in a goalless draw at Gaziantep. Against a side that’s let in three goals across two home games, the chances will come.

They also hold a 1-1 draw with Roma in Europe this season. Whatever the domestic wobbles, this side can play.

Probable lineup Caykur Rizespor: Fofana; Pala, Mocsi, Sanuc, Sagnan; Antalyali; Doicaru, Sahin, Olawoyin, Bulut; Sowe
Probable lineup Fenerbahce: Ederson; Semedo, Ake, Skriniar, Brown; Guendouzi, Kante; Greenwood, Kahveci, Akturkoglu; Muriqi

Free Football Prediction: Caykur Rizespor vs Fenerbahce

Our prediction: Fenerbahce to win (odds around 1.75)

Rizespor’s away numbers are impressive, but this game is in Rize, where they’ve scored nothing and lost twice to sides that aren’t in Fenerbahce’s postcode. Missing Mihaila through suspension doesn’t help an attack that’s already gone quiet at home.

Fenerbahce bring 16 league goals, a 14-game unbeaten run in this fixture and a 35-8 aggregate over the last nine meetings. Their defeats this season came against Besiktas and a Genclerbirligi side on opening day. Not against teams with Rizespor’s home profile.

One more number worth weighing: across their last ten matches in all competitions, Fenerbahce have lost just twice. For a side described as erratic, that’s a solid base, and it’s a base built on goals rather than clean sheets.

At around 1.75, the away win offers fair value. Rizespor’s defence will make it awkward for a spell. The quality gap should tell over 90 minutes.

About our free predictions

  • What we publish on MathOdds are analyses, nothing more. We share a view, a reading of the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport remains what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a last-minute goal, and the script changes completely.
  • Let’s be clear: there is no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when it looks “obvious”, nothing ever is. And yes, that means you can lose. It’s even inevitable at some point.
  • The smartest approach is to stay reasonable. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Never use money you need to live on. And above all: don’t chase your losses, that rarely ends well.
  • A bet should remain a game, not a job or a source of income. If it starts taking up too much space in your daily life, causes stress or frustration, take a break. And if needed, talk to a support organisation: that’s what they’re there for.
  • Ultimately, responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and will never disappear, no matter how good the analysis.
  • Essential reminder: gambling is prohibited for minors and must comply with the laws of your country. Need help? Visit begambleaware.org.

Information changes

A prediction is always based on what we know at the time of writing. But between publication and kick-off, a lineup can change, a player picks up an injury, the weather turns, and the analysis can quickly be outdated. We cannot be held responsible for that.
