Alexis Vossah is 18 and had a choice most 18-year-olds never get.
Foot Mercato reported this evening that two foreign clubs put concrete offers on the table for the Toulouse midfielder during the summer window. One sits in the top five of the Saudi league and is owned by the Public Investment Fund. The other was described only as a giant of Turkish football.
Both were turned down. Vossah is staying in Haute-Garonne.

“I’ve got stages to go through”
He gave Foot Mercato his reasoning, and it was short.
“I chose to stay because I really want to establish myself more at Toulouse FC. I’m still young, I’ve got stages to go through and I want to keep improving with my academy club, take another step in Ligue 1 and make my mark before thinking about a possible next move.”
Minutes over money. At 18, with the PIF on the phone, that is not the answer most players give.
Already in the record books at Toulouse
Vossah is the youngest scorer in the club’s history. That entry is his already.
Two appearances so far this season, and his summer work was enough to keep him in the head coach’s rotation rather than parked on the bench.
The contract runs to June 2030. Four full seasons for Toulouse to develop him, and a solid negotiating position whenever the next bid arrives.
