Torino and Monza head into this last-16 tie level in Serie A: zero points after two rounds. Kick-off is set for Tuesday 1 September at 21:00 at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

There is extra spice on the touchline too. Ivan Juric, who spent several seasons in charge of Torino, returns to the Grande Torino with Monza.
Ignazio Abate is up against a manager who knows the place inside out. But on the pitch, the gap in solidity between the two sides is plain to see.
The prize for the winner only raises the stakes further. Torino would get AC Milan, the lone Serie A leaders with six points from two games, having already faced them on 23 August.

Their opening day was tight: the Granata lost 2-1 at home to AC Milan, who are now top of the league. It was decided by fine margins, not by one side simply running riot.
The trip to Sassuolo underlined how shaky things are right now, ending in another defeat. Two losses from two, but no real embarrassment in the numbers.
The Italian Cup, though, has offered their only real boost so far. That 1-0 win over Carrarese remains their only clean sheet of the campaign.
That ability to shut the door against lower-league opposition matters here, with Monza having found goals hard to come by since the restart. The Grande Torino should suit them.
There is still room for improvement going forward, with just two league goals in two matches. Against Serie A’s leakiest defence, the chance is there.

Monza have shipped seven goals in their first two Serie A matches. No other team in the division has been that soft at the back so early on.
Life back in the top flight began with a 4-1 defeat at Inter, with Varela the only Monza player to respond. The step up looked brutal straight away.
Matchday two did nothing to calm the nerves, with a home defeat to Udinese. Two games, two losses, 18th place.
The odd part is up front: they have scored three goals, which is more than Torino over the same spell. Monza’s problem is clearly at the back, not the sharp end.
Their Italian Cup run, however, got off to the best possible start with that convincing 3-0 win over Avellino on 14 August. It remains the one bright spot of the season.
Ivan Juric also has a schedule that leaves little breathing space for a newly promoted side already under pressure. A trip to Turin three days after a league game does them no favours.
The opening run has been brutal for the Brianzoli, with Inter and Udinese first up. Both are now in the top five.
The damage, though, is severe: an average of three and a half goals conceded per match. No promoted side survives long with numbers like that.
