Parma vs Bologna: three straight away wins head to the Tardini
When Bologna last came to the Stadio Ennio Tardini on 2 November 2025, they won 3-1. A year on they return on Saturday 7 November, with kick-off at 17:00 UK time, after three straight away wins in the league.
All four of Bologna’s league wins this season have come in their last five matches, a run that has taken them to ninth on 14 points. Three of those wins were on the road, at Lecce, Cagliari and AC Milan, where they scored four.
The obvious caution is what Parma did last time out. They went to Atalanta and won 3-0, a result that nobody could have read from their previous four games, and it lifted them to eight points and 15th place.
The context around that win is what makes this game worth looking at closely. Parma had taken one point from the four league games before it, losing 3-0 at Inter, 3-0 at home to Torino and 2-1 at Lazio, then drawing 0-0 with Udinese.
I read Bergamo as a good day rather than a turning point. The market agrees to an extent, with Bologna priced around 1.80 for the away win and Parma at 4.50.
Parma: eight points, and only three goals in five at home
The home record is the part of Parma’s season that matters most for this game. Across their last five matches at the Tardini they’ve won once, drawn twice and lost twice, scoring three and conceding six.
Scoring has been the recurring difficulty. They average 0.8 goals a game in the league, and their goal difference after ten matches is -7.
Lontani leads them with three league goals and Romero has two, so nobody has carried the attack. Their 3-0 in Bergamo accounts for a large share of the four goals they’ve scored in the last five games, and the other four matches brought only one between them.
Defensively they’ve been more respectable, conceding 1.4 a game overall. That said, Torino and Inter each scored three against them in this five-game run, and Bologna have scored 11 in their own last five.
The head-to-head offers some comfort, with Parma’s 1-0 win at Bologna on 8 February 2026 the latest meeting. At the Tardini, however, the last five read 1-3, 2-0, 0-3, 2-2 and 0-0, with Bologna winning twice and Parma once.
The longer record at this ground is close without being encouraging. Since 2018 Parma have won one, drawn two and lost two of their home league games against Bologna, with Bologna ahead 8-5 on goals.

Bologna: 11 goals in five, and scoring in nine league games running
Bologna’s recent results are 2-1 at Lecce, a 3-1 home defeat by Inter, 2-0 at Cagliari, 4-2 at AC Milan and 2-1 at home to Monza. That’s 11 scored and seven conceded in five, and the Inter game is the only one they didn’t win.
Consistency in front of goal sits behind the run. They’ve scored in nine consecutive Serie A games, so only one of their ten league matches has ended without a Bologna goal.
Bernardeschi and Mbangula each have three league goals, and the scoring around them is spread out. Their away output of 1.7 goals a game is well ahead of what Parma have managed at home, and the defence concedes 1.2 on the road.
The win at AC Milan stands out most, because it came against a side currently fifth on 21 points.
A slow start explains why a side with this form is only ninth. Two draws and three defeats in their first five league games left them chasing, and they’re still six points behind sixth-placed Frosinone.
Bologna’s away form holds up over a slightly bigger sample too. Their last five league trips read two defeats followed by those three wins, with eight scored and five conceded, while the return fixture at the Dall’Ara has gone their way more often than not, two wins to one since 2019, with a 10-5 goal aggregate.

Free Serie A Prediction: Parma vs Bologna
Our prediction: Bologna to win at odds of 1.80
Bologna have won three in a row away from home and have scored in nine straight league games, and they face a side with one win from its last five at the Tardini. At 1.80 the straight win is a fair price, and I prefer it to the draw no bet at 1.33, which falls under our minimum price.
Parma’s win in Bergamo is the argument against, and it does show they can raise their level. It remains one result set against 0.8 goals a game across the season, and their home matches have produced three goals from five outings for them.
I’d expect Bologna to win by a goal, most likely 2-1 or 1-0, which would be their fourth straight away win in the league.
The other markets support a tight, low-scoring away win. Under 2.5 goals is 1.73 against 2.10 for the over, both teams to score is 1.95 for yes and 1.80 for no, and Bologna are 1.62 to score first. I looked at Bologna to win to nil at 2.75, but Parma’s home games have rarely been one-way, so the straight win is the safer way in.

About our free predictions
- What we publish on MathOdds are analyses, nothing more. We share a view, a reading of the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport remains what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a last-minute goal, and the script changes completely.
- Let’s be clear: there is no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when it looks “obvious”, nothing ever is. And yes, that means you can lose. It’s even inevitable at some point.
- The smartest approach is to stay reasonable. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Never use money you need to live on. And above all: don’t chase your losses: that rarely ends well.
- A bet should remain a game, not a job or a source of income. If it starts taking up too much space in your daily life, causes stress or frustration, take a break. And if needed, talk to a support organisation: that’s what they’re there for.
- Ultimately, responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and will never disappear, no matter how good the analysis.
- Essential reminder: gambling is prohibited for minors and must comply with the laws of your country. Need help? Visit begambleaware.org.
