Leyton Orient vs Bradford City: a League One clash for a spot in round four 
Leyton Orient have won their last four home games against Bradford City. Three of those wins came without conceding a goal.
Kick-off for this third-round EFL Cup tie is set for Tuesday, 8 September at 19:45 UK time, or 20:45 in France, at Brisbane Road.
Both clubs play in League One and both have knocked out an opponent from the division above or the same level to get this far. The winner will reach round four and a potentially lucrative draw.
Orient sit ninth in the table with seven points from their last four league games. Bradford are fourth with nine points and three wins from five outings.
The balance of this fixture has been tilted for some time. Bradford have won only once in the last six meetings, and their last victory at Brisbane Road came back in February 2015.
Richie Wellens has never lost at home to Bradford in five games against them, with four wins and a draw. That stat carries real weight heading into the night.
A win would send the London side into round four for the first time in 64 years. So there is plenty more at stake than a midweek cup tie.
Both sides have already gone through penalties in this competition this season, Orient against Walsall and Bradford against Burnley. So Tuesday night would not be new territory.

Leyton Orient finished last season just three points above the League One relegation zone. This start to the new campaign looks nothing like that miserable finish.
Since opening-day defeat to current leaders Sheffield Wednesday, Richie Wellens’ side have lost just once in all competitions. Seven points have been picked up from the next four league matches.
The two away games have set the tone. Wigan Athletic were beaten 2-0 and Bromley were hammered 5-0 on their own patch.
Their cup run has taken two different routes. Oxford United were turned over thanks to two late goals, before Walsall were dumped out on penalties.
Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Luton Town underlined the defensive base Wellens has built. Even so, Orient are without a win in normal time in their last three home games.
Aaron Connolly is closing in on a return after four months out and quadriceps surgery, but this game comes too soon. Rarmani Edmonds-Green is still recovering from an ACL injury and Ollie O’Neill remains sidelined.
Somto Boniface and Phillip Chinedu are doubts. New arrivals Dane Scarlett and Oliver Dovin are available for Tuesday.
The schedule is kind to the Londoners in the weeks ahead, with four opponents currently below them. A win here would keep the momentum rolling.
The 5-0 win at Bromley remains Orient’s standout result so far this season. The 2-0 success at Wigan Athletic rounds out a strong away record.

Bradford City: a top-half contender that is still finding its rhythm 
Bradford City finished fourth in League One last season and lost to Bolton Wanderers in the play-off semi-finals. They have come back with the same ambitions.
The Bantams are fourth again after five league games, with three wins on the board. But consistency has been in short supply early on.
Back-to-back defeats went before the weekend, 2-0 at Plymouth Argyle and then 2-1 at home to Cambridge United. Saturday’s 1-0 win over Mansfield Town stopped the slide.
Their EFL Cup run has been the brightest part of the campaign so far. Rochdale were beaten 2-0, then Championship side Burnley were knocked out on penalties at Valley Parade.
George Pratt made his first appearance in the middle of defence against Mansfield and kept a clean sheet. He joined on loan from Blackburn Rovers.
Tyreik Wright is still the only long-term absentee after picking up a quadriceps injury just before the League One restart. He is not expected back for around a month.
Graham Alexander could hand loan signings Hayden Matthews and Kieran Morgan their first minutes. The trip to Brisbane Road also opens a run of three straight away games.
Knocking out Burnley, a Championship side, showed what Bradford can do in a one-off tie. Valley Parade saw the Bantams hold out for 0-0 before winning on penalties.
Fourth place after five games confirms their status as play-off contenders. Three wins and two defeats is a decent enough return, even if it has been a bit uneven.
