Kasimpasa vs Besiktas: six meetings in a row with goals at both ends
Benedyczak scored the only goal at Eyupspor last Saturday, in the 37th minute, and it was his sixth league goal of the season. That’s the same number Vlahovic has for Besiktas, and the two strikers meet at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium on Sunday 1 November, kick-off 16:00 UK time.
The table makes this closer than the names suggest. Besiktas are fourth with 18 points from nine games, Kasimpasa sixth with 16. A home win would take Emre Belozoglu’s side above their visitors, and nobody would call that a shock given how the two teams have travelled this season.
Kasimpasa haven’t lost at home in the league. Four games there have brought one win and three draws, with seven goals scored and four conceded, and they’ve won three in a row in all competitions, the last of them 3-1 against Corluspor in the Turkish Cup on Thursday.
Besiktas have the opposite problem. Vincenzo Italiano’s side have won once in four away league games, and that win came at Fenerbahce. The other three trips ended in defeat, including 3-2 at Amed SK on 20 September and 2-0 at Trabzonspor on 19 October.
The head-to-head is what shapes my reading of this one. The last six meetings ended 2-1 to Besiktas, 1-1, 1-1, 3-1 to Kasimpasa, 2-1 to Kasimpasa and 3-1 to Kasimpasa, and both sides scored every time. Besiktas have won only one of their last six visits to this ground.
Kasimpasa: unbeaten at home and built around Benedyczak
Belozoglu has turned Kasimpasa into a side that’s difficult to beat. Their league record reads four wins, four draws and one defeat, with 13 goals scored and 9 conceded, and the only loss came at Galatasaray, 3-1 on 9 October.
Since then they’ve beaten Samsunspor 4-1 at home on 18 October and won 1-0 at Eyupspor. That second game is a good example of how they play away from home: one goal, then a lot of defending, and a clean sheet to show for it.
Benedyczak is the reference point in attack. Six goals and two assists in nine appearances make him involved in more than half of their league goals, and nobody else in the squad has more than two. Arous and G. Yalcin have two each, and Winck has a goal and two assists from full-back.
There are a few fitness questions. Corekci is out with an Achilles problem, and Frimpong, Mouanga and Diabate are all doubts, while reports differ on whether Ben Ouanes is available. None of those are as central as Benedyczak, but a thinner squad matters after a cup tie on Thursday night.
Home draws have been the pattern, with 0-0 against Konyaspor on 18 September and 2-2 against Amed SK, so Kasimpasa aren’t a side that wins comfortably here. They do score, though: seven goals in four home games, and only once without a goal.

Besiktas: one away win all season and three midfielders missing
Italiano’s Besiktas are much better at home than away. They’ve won six league games and lost three, scoring 18 and conceding 10, and the last result was a 2-0 home win over Istanbul Basaksehir on 26 October.
Away from home it’s been a struggle. The league record on the road is one win and three defeats, two of them at Amed SK and Trabzonspor, and the single win was the 2-1 derby at Fenerbahce. Besiktas haven’t drawn a league game all season, home or away.
Vlahovic has made a quick impact since joining on a free from Juventus in the summer on a three-year deal. Six goals in seven league appearances is a strong return, though he hasn’t registered an assist, and Besiktas rely on others to get him the ball.
That’s where the injury list bites. Kokcu, who has two goals and two assists, is out with a heel problem, Miretti is out with a shoulder injury and Rashica with a hamstring. Cerny, with two goals and an assist, is either out or doubtful depending on the report, and Akdag is unavailable too.
The Europa League has added to the load. Besiktas won 3-2 at Hoffenheim and drew 2-2 at home with Crystal Palace, two games with nine goals between them. Across those two European nights they conceded four times, which matches a league record of ten goals against in nine games.
Probable lineup Kasimpasa: Gianniotis; Winck, Arous, Ilie, Karapo; Mendes, Demirbay; Rak-Sakyi, Hajradinovic, Kol; Benedyczak
Probable lineup Besiktas: Nubel; Murillo, Agbadou, Topcu, Yilmaz; Ndidi; Poku, Olaitan, Trossard, Yilmaz; Vlahovic
Free Football Prediction: Kasimpasa vs Besiktas
Our prediction: Both teams to score at 1.73
Both sides scored in each of the last six meetings, and the reasons behind that pattern are still in place. Kasimpasa have scored in three of four home games, and Besiktas have Vlahovic, who’s scored six times in seven league appearances.
The doubt is Besiktas’s away form, since they’ve lost three of four league trips. But they scored twice in the 3-2 defeat at Amed SK, and the absences of Kokcu, Miretti and Rashica weaken their midfield protection more than their finishing. Kasimpasa should find space against a reshuffled side.
Besiktas are around 1.53 to win, which I find too short given their road record. Both teams to score at 1.73 avoids picking a winner in a game where the home side hasn’t lost and the away side rarely wins.

About our free predictions
- What we publish on MathOdds are analyses, nothing more. We share a view, a reading of the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport remains what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a last-minute goal, and the script changes completely.
- Let’s be clear: there is no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when it looks “obvious”, nothing ever is. And yes, that means you can lose. It’s even inevitable at some point.
- The smartest approach is to stay reasonable. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Never use money you need to live on. And above all: don’t chase your losses: that rarely ends well.
- A bet should remain a game, not a job or a source of income. If it starts taking up too much space in your daily life, causes stress or frustration, take a break. And if needed, talk to a support organisation: that’s what they’re there for.
- Ultimately, responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and will never disappear, no matter how good the analysis.
- Essential reminder: gambling is prohibited for minors and must comply with the laws of your country. Need help? Visit begambleaware.org.
