Sharks vs Knights: Cronulla look to back up their Top 4 status 
NRL Round 20 rolls on on Friday night with one of the standout fixtures of the weekend. Sitting just outside the podium places, the Sharks and the Knights meet in a clash that could carry real weight in the race for the finals.

The Knights need to tighten up defensively 
Newcastle will feel they let one slip against the Rabbitohs.
Behind for much of the match, the Knights found a way back into it before just falling short. Kalyn Ponga once again showed why he remains one of the competition’s biggest difference-makers, with bursts of pace and plenty of invention to drag his side forward.
The expected return of Bradman Best is a major boost. His power coming out of yardage and his ability to break the first tackle add another layer to Newcastle’s attack. His battle with Jesse Ramien should be one of the key matchups of the night.
Even with that good news, Newcastle’s main job is on the other side of the ball. They are conceding more points than most teams near the top of the table, and that kind of slackness could get punished badly against an attack as sharp as Cronulla’s.
If they let Hynes and Trindall settle or keep coughing up possession in their own half, it could turn ugly quickly.

This brings together two ambitious teams who have been playing some eye-catching rugby league in recent weeks.
