West Bromwich Albion vs Millwall: four goalless draws at The Hawthorns, and five away defeats for Millwall
The last four meetings between these clubs at The Hawthorns have all finished 0-0: April 2023, September 2023, October 2024 and 10 April this year. West Brom haven’t beaten Millwall anywhere since a 2-0 win at The Den in February 2020.
That’s ten meetings without an Albion win, three of them Millwall wins, including 3-0 at The Den in October 2025. The other seven were draws, and three of them finished 1-1.
The game is on Saturday 7 November, kick-off 15:00 UK time. West Brom are sixth on 25 points, two behind second-placed Wolves, and Millwall are 13th on 18.
James Morrison’s side are unbeaten in five league games, with three wins and two draws, and they’ve scored ten goals in that run. The last of them was Isaac Price’s penalty in a 1-1 draw with Southampton on Tuesday.
Millwall were beaten 3-0 at Birmingham the same night. Cochrane, Bird and Stansfield all scored before half-time, and it was Alex Neil’s side’s fifth away defeat in seven league games.
West Brom are 1.99 to win, the draw is 3.62 and Millwall 3.44. I’d back the home side, and I don’t think the head-to-head should scare anyone off.
West Bromwich Albion: unbeaten in five, with Price and Morgan on five goals each
Albion’s last defeat was 1-0 to Birmingham in the derby on 10 October. Since then they’ve won 2-1 at Wrexham, beaten Blackburn 3-2 at home, drawn 1-1 at Preston, won 3-1 at West Ham and drawn with Southampton.
They’ve scored 20 league goals and conceded 15 in 14 games. Price and Jimmy-Jay Morgan have five league goals each, so ten of Albion’s 20 league goals have come from two players.
George Campbell is the doubt. The captain was forced off against Southampton with a groin problem, and Nat Phillips is likely to come in alongside Mepham if he doesn’t recover.
Noah Galves is out long-term, and Brayann Pereira continues at right-back. Tammer Bany, who joined in February 2025 for about £3.3m and has had a long run of injuries since, is pushing for his first Albion start.
The win at West Ham on 31 October was the best result of the run. Albion scored three times at the London Stadium and conceded once, against a West Ham side that sits eighth.
The Southampton draw was flatter, and Morrison’s side needed a penalty to get anything. Even so, they’ve only lost once in their last six league games.

Millwall: 15 conceded in seven away games, and Crama and Leonard missing
Millwall’s season splits cleanly by venue. At The Den they’ve won three, drawn two and lost two, scoring 15 and conceding nine. Away from home they’ve won two and lost five, scoring eight and conceding 15.
The away defeats include 5-1 at Southampton, 3-1 at Blackburn, 2-1 at Portsmouth and Tuesday’s 3-0 at Birmingham. The two away wins came at Bristol City in August and 1-0 at Preston on 10 October.
Form overall is patchy. Millwall have won one of their last five, beating Derby 4-1 on 31 October, and lost to Swansea, Portsmouth and Birmingham in that run.
Tristan Crama and Ryan Leonard are both out. Jordi Osei-Tutu is expected to keep his place at right-back, with Taylor and Cooper in the middle of the back four.
Neil has scored freely at home with this group: 4-0 against Bolton, 3-0 against Norwich and 4-1 against Derby. That’s 11 of their 15 home goals in three games.
The head-to-head is the one real thing in Millwall’s favour. They’re unbeaten in ten against West Brom, and the four 0-0s at The Hawthorns show they’ve known how to shut this fixture down.
Probable lineup West Bromwich Albion: O’Leary; Pereira, Mepham, Phillips, Styles; Nzingoula, Molumby, Diakite, Price; Morgan, Heggebo
Probable lineup Millwall: Crocombe; Osei-Tutu, Taylor, Cooper, Sykes; Kelly, Mazou-Sacko; Lisbie, Cundle, Esse; Coburn

Our prediction: West Bromwich Albion to win (odds 1.99)
West Brom are unbeaten in five and have scored ten in that run. Millwall have lost five of seven away games, conceded 15 on the road and arrive off a 3-0 defeat in which all three goals came before half-time.
The four goalless draws at The Hawthorns are the argument against, and a fifth wouldn’t shock me. I’m not convinced they mean much this time, though, because Millwall’s current away record is five defeats from seven and Albion have scored in each of their last five league games.
I’d take West Brom at 1.99. A 2-0 or 2-1 home win is the most likely outcome, with Price and Morgan the names I’d expect on the scoresheet.

About our free predictions
- What we publish on MathOdds are analyses, nothing more. We share a view, a reading of the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport remains what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a last-minute goal, and the script changes completely.
- Let’s be clear: there is no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when it looks “obvious”, nothing ever is. And yes, that means you can lose. It’s even inevitable at some point.
- The smartest approach is to stay reasonable. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Never use money you need to live on. And above all: don’t chase your losses: that rarely ends well.
- A bet should remain a game, not a job or a source of income. If it starts taking up too much space in your daily life, causes stress or frustration, take a break. And if needed, talk to a support organisation: that’s what they’re there for.
- Ultimately, responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and will never disappear, no matter how good the analysis.
- Essential reminder: gambling is prohibited for minors and must comply with the laws of your country. Need help? Visit begambleaware.org.

A prediction is always based on what we know at the time of writing. But between publication and kick-off, a lineup can change, a player picks up an injury, the weather turns, and the analysis can quickly be outdated. We cannot be held responsible for that.
