Three French clubs in the mix
Warren Bondo could be heading back. According to Foot Mercato, the AC Milan midfielder is being chased in Ligue 1 with just hours left before the window shuts.
Brest and Troyes lead the race. Monaco are keeping tabs. Lille and Rennes both moved earlier in the summer without ever taking it all the way.
The player has made his mind up. Bondo wants France. Milan would rather send him to Sassuolo.
Try it for $0.99.
Troyes want the loan, and they know the seller
ESTAC are pushing hard. The club from Aube want Bondo on loan, Foot Mercato says, and they know the Milan setup well after selling Sankhoun Diawara to the Rossoneri this summer.
Brest arrived in the picture only in the last few hours. Stade Brestois have shown real interest in the former France U20 international.
Monaco are the trickier case. The Principality club like his profile but need to clear space first. The Lamine Camara deal with Chelsea never got done. Maxence Caqueret has been offered to ASM, and Como will not let him go. Erik Lira, tipped as close, is still waiting on Folarin Balogun leaving.
A busy career already at 22
Bondo left Nancy, his youth club, in 2022 for Reggina. Monza is where he made his name, and a strong first half of that season earned him the AC Milan move in January 2025.
A return now would put him back in the country he left at 18. Three clubs, one player, and the window shuts Tuesday night.
