Torino – Inter Milan: Milan’s title charge takes shape in Piedmont
We’re heading to Turin for what could be one of the season’s final big moments. Inter Milan travel to Torino determined to lock up top spot for good. The visitors arrive flying after their heroic cup comeback, while the hosts have finally found a bit of breathing space in the table. With a future champion refusing to ease off and a Torino side that has rediscovered some bite, this looks more open than it first appears.
Torino have steadied the ship
In Turin, the mood has improved. Torino have dragged themselves out of the relegation mess thanks to a timely change in the dugout. Under Roberto D’Aversa, they now sit in a far more comfortable 12th place. Even if they threw away points against a fellow struggler last time out, the underlying performances have been much more convincing. Torino are far harder to shift on home soil now and they have even found a decent cutting edge up front.
That said, they were hammered in the reverse fixture, and that will still be lingering in the background. Their job here is simple enough: hang in for as long as possible against the Lombardy storm. With no real pressure in the table, they can at least go after the game with a free swing.
Inter Milan are in a different class
Simple really: Inter Milan are on fire right now. Cristian Chivu’s men booked a wildly unlikely cup final place in midweek, a result that underlined the steel running through this squad. In the league, Inter have been putting up serious numbers going forward. Every outing seems to end in goals, with Calhanoglu setting the tempo in midfield. Inter also boast Serie A’s best away record, giving their opponents scraps and not much else. They want the title wrapped up as quickly as possible so the celebrations can begin. It is hard to see who stops an Inter side moving like this.
Probable line-ups
Torino : Paleari ; Coco, Ismajli, Ebosse ; Pedersen, Casadei, Gineitis, Obrador ; Vlasic ; Simeone, Adams
Inter Milan : Sommer ; Bisseck, Akanji, Augusto ; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Zielinski, Dimarco ; Thuram, Esposito

Football prediction Torino vs Inter Milan
Inter Milan to win
Torino will try to scrap hard in front of their own fans, but this is a huge ask. Inter arrive with too much firepower and too much title hunger for this to drag on for long. Torino’s back line could struggle against the pace and movement of Milan’s forwards. Back Inter for a clear win and expect them to control things without too much fuss. Torino may salvage some pride, but the visitors’ technical class should tell as the game wears on.

Before anything else, a word on our predictions
- What we publish on Mathodds is analysis, nothing more. We share an opinion, a reading of the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport is what it is: unpredictable. A red card, a tactical tweak, a goal out of nowhere… and the whole script changes.
- Let’s be clear: there is no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when something looks nailed on, it is never really that simple. And yes, that means you can lose. It happens sooner or later.
- The best approach is to stay sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Do not touch money you need to live. And above all, do not chase losses. That usually ends badly.
- A bet should stay a game, not a job or a source of income. If it starts taking up too much space in your daily life, if it winds you up or puts you under pressure, take a break. If needed, speak to a specialist support group. That is what they are there for.
- In the end, the responsibility is yours. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and will never disappear, even with the best analysis in the world.
- Important reminder: betting is banned for minors and must follow the law in your country. Gambling can spiral quickly (money loss, family strain, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No commitment from us
Our predictions are not a contract. They have no legal force. In plain English: if a bet loses, you cannot use them to claim compensation.
Information changes
A prediction is always based on what we know at the time of writing. But by the time you read it, a team sheet may have changed, a player may have picked up an injury, the weather may have turned… and the analysis may already be out of date. We cannot be held responsible for that.
Your role
Before placing a bet, check that betting is legal where you live. If it is not, that is your responsibility, not ours.
