Titans receiver Elic Ayomanor sidelined by a shoulder injury in training camp

NFL: Titans WR Elic Ayomanor hurt in practice

A camp collision the Titans did not want

Elic Ayomanor walked off the field on Thursday holding his left shoulder. The Tennessee Titans wide receiver collided with safety Kevin Winston Jr. during a red-zone drill and did not go back in.

Head coach Robert Saleh kept the tone measured. “It feels stable, but we’ll get more info later,” he said. The team plans to run tests before it commits to any timeline.

A number the Titans are counting on

Ayomanor built real value as a rookie. In 2025 he caught 41 passes for 515 yards and four touchdowns across 16 games, starting 14 of them at age 23. For a Titans offense still finding its identity, those 515 yards marked him as a piece to build around rather than a depth option.

Tennessee drafted the Medicine Hat, Alberta, native in the fourth round in 2025. A shoulder problem in early August does not change his role, only the timing of when he can chase it again.

Waiting on the results

The Titans will know more once the imaging comes back. Until then, Ayomanor’s availability for the coming preseason schedule stays open.
