Milwaukee Brewers are looking to hit back against St. Louis
St. Louis have finally found an answer. After being bossed around by Milwaukee for several games, the Cardinals took control and rolled to a 5-1 win. It was a much-needed lift, but the Brewers do not usually stay quiet for long.
Milwaukee still sit top of the division and retain a clear edge in recent head-to-head meetings. For this one, the Andre Pallante vs Logan Henderson matchup could keep things tight for a few innings. Over the full nine, though, the visitors’ depth and consistency look like stronger bets.
St. Louis Cardinals : back it up after the response they needed
The Cardinals badly needed that win. After a rough double-header, they found their swing again and, crucially, got in front early instead of waiting until the late innings. Once ahead, St. Louis never really let Milwaukee back into it.
The big question now is whether they can do it again. They are up against a team that has had their number lately, so they will need to take every opening that comes their way. Against Henderson, chances may be thinner, and runners left stranded could end up costing them.
Andre Pallante still gives them a decent platform. With a 3.60 ERA and a 10-5 record, the right-hander has put together a solid season. He will need to keep things clean, though, because Milwaukee have an offence that can turn a couple of free passes into a big inning in a hurry.
Milwaukee Brewers : one loss does not alter the bigger picture
Milwaukee came up short last time out, but drawing big conclusions from one game would be a mistake. Before that defeat, the Brewers had won four straight and had been well on top of St. Louis in recent meetings.
Their strength is consistency. Milwaukee can beat you with the bat, with pitching, or simply by waiting for the other side to blink. After managing only one run, their hitters should be aiming to put Pallante under pressure much earlier.
Logan Henderson is tasked with giving them that chance. His 2.74 ERA is eye-catching, and his early outings have shown a real ability to control the tempo of a game. If he avoids the kind of shaky start Milwaukee suffered in the previous meeting, the Brewers should be in strong shape to take charge again.
Try it for $0.99.
MLB Prediction : St. Louis Cardinals vs Milwaukee Brewers
Milwaukee Brewers to win
St. Louis just showed they can rattle Milwaukee, especially at home. The Cardinals also have a reliable starter in Andre Pallante, which should stop the visitors from running away with it too easily.
But across the season, Milwaukee still look the safer pick. The Brewers own the better record, travel well, and have had the upper hand in recent meetings between these two. A 5-1 loss does not erase that gap in consistency.
With Logan Henderson on the mound and an offence expected to bounce back after a quiet night, Milwaukee have enough to get back on top. In a game that could stay close for several innings, the Brewers’ depth should eventually tell.
in your pocket.

Before anything else, a word on our predictions
- What we publish on mathodds is analysis, nothing more. We share an opinion, a read on the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport is what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a goal from nowhere… and the script changes completely.
- Let’s be clear: there is no bet without risk. Even when something looks “obvious”, it never really is. And yes, that means you can lose. In fact, at some point, you will.
- The best approach is to stay sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Do not touch money you need to live. And above all: do not chase your losses, because that rarely ends well.
- A bet should stay a game, not a job or a source of income. If you feel it is taking up too much space in your daily life, making you angry or putting you under pressure, take a break. And if needed, speak to a specialist organisation. That is what they are there for.
- In the end, the responsibility is yours. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and will never disappear, even with the best analysis in the world.
- Essential reminder: betting is illegal for minors and must comply with the law in your country. Gambling can spiral fast (money lost, family tension, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No commitment from us
Our predictions are not a contract. They carry no legal weight. In plain English: you cannot use them to claim anything if a bet goes wrong.
Information changes
A prediction is always based on what we know when it is written. But between then and now, a team sheet changes, a player gets hurt, the weather turns… and the analysis can quickly become outdated. We cannot be held responsible for that.
