The Springboks won 33-26 to drag the 2026 series back level, which is exactly where it sits heading into Saturday, September 5 at FNB Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg. Winner takes Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry for the year.
Kick-off is 17:10 local time in Johannesburg, the same reading on French clocks with both countries sharing a time zone in early September. Georgian official Nika Amashukeli has the whistle. That makes three referees across three Tests, after Matthew Carley and then Angus Gardner. There is rugby earlier on the same pitch as well, with the Springboks Women facing the Black Ferns in the afternoon.
