One point two billion
Start with the figure, because everything else bends around it. 1.221 billion euros. That is what Real Madrid pulled in from operations across the 2025-2026 season, and AS reports the club has never banked more. Another record, filed next to all the others. The machine in the capital is running flat out, and the pitch is only part of the story.
Profit crept up as well, from 24.3 million euros a year ago to 26.3 million. Modest. But the arrow keeps pointing the same way.
Try it for $0.99.
The Bernabeu prints money now
Look at what the rebuilt Santiago Bernabeu has become. Running the stadium alone brought in 363 million euros, an 11% jump. It stopped being a venue that only fills up on match days a while ago. Concerts, corporate events, VIP boxes, club shops. Every square metre gets monetised.
Commercial revenue tells the same story. Sponsorship hauled in 539 million euros, up 6%, and the marquee names are staying put. Emirates has signed on through 2031, Adidas through 2034. Reports value those deals as high as 100 and 120 million a year, though neither club has confirmed the figures.
Why the rest of Europe should worry
None of this is a footnote. It bankrolls everything that follows. Real can keep swinging hard in the transfer market and swallow enormous fees without blinking. The whole model leans on the Bernabeu and a handful of giant contracts. While that keeps ticking, Los Blancos sit a step ahead of the field. The biggest asset in Madrid right now is not wearing a shirt. It is the balance sheet.
