NEC Nijmegen vs Go Ahead Eagles: two dodgy defences 
Nijmegen have shipped eight goals without scoring once across their last two matches. Go Ahead Eagles have let in 13 across six rounds and are still waiting for a clean sheet.
That sets the scene for round seven of the Eredivisie, on Sunday at 16:45 CET at the Goffertstadion.
There is barely anything between these two sides in the table: NEC Nijmegen are 10th on seven points, Go Ahead Eagles ninth on nine.
Both clubs started the season in opposite fashion, with Nijmegen losing 2-1 to Telstar while Deventer swept Willem II aside 4-1.
Since then, the form lines have split. Nijmegen are on the back of two heavy defeats, while the visitors have strung together two draws.
Both can still score, though, with Tjaronn Chery and Dusan Tadic on one side, Soren Tengstedt and Victor Edvardsen on the other.
This feels less like a contest to pick a winner and more like one to back goals. Neither side knows how to shut things down right now.
Kick-off is set for 16:45, with the 10th-placed side hosting the ninth.

Dick Schreuder’s men crashed 3-0 at Cambuur in their last league outing, with Ilyes Hamache scoring either side of the break.
The week ended with a proper drubbing in Europe, a 5-0 loss at Juventus in the Europa League.
The numbers from Turin sum it up neatly: 497 completed passes at 91 percent, but only two shots on target from 11 attempts.
The same pattern has shown up in both recent games: a high defensive line getting caught out, and an attack that cannot turn possession into anything meaningful.
It stands in stark contrast to August, when Nijmegen beat Willem II 4-1 and Zwolle 3-1.
In between, a 3-0 defeat at Bodo/Glimt and a 2-2 draw with Excelsior started the slide.
The 3-1 loss to Feyenoord at the Goffertstadion had already exposed the weak points in Schreuder’s set-up.
Captain Tjaronn Chery remains the club’s top scorer with three league goals. Nijmegen have also won two penalties, the highest total in the division.
Their summer schedule has taken its toll, with Champions League qualifying rounds adding extra strain to an already crowded calendar.
The treatment room is not helping either: Emre Mor is out until mid-October, Deveron Fonville until early next month, and Ahmetcan Kaplan remains a doubt.
Clement Bischoff, one of the side’s most productive creators, is also expected to miss out after the trip to Turin.
Dusan Tadic remains the main threat in the final third, linking up with Chery behind the lone striker.

Go Ahead Eagles create plenty and give plenty away 
Joseph Oosting’s side were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Groningen, with Soren Tengstedt scoring an 82nd-minute equaliser.
That match pretty much summed up their season: 35 crosses, and one gilt-edged chance wasted by Stefan Sigurdarson in stoppage time.
The three games before that told the same attacking story, with a 3-3 draw at Utrecht, a 5-2 defeat at AZ Alkmaar and a 3-1 win over ADO Den Haag.
Soren Tengstedt has led the line with five goals and two assists, one of the best returns in the league.
His drifting runs from the right into central areas keep causing problems for opposition defences.
Stefan Sigurdarson rounds out the attacking pair, even if his poor finishing cost two points against Groningen.
Victor Edvardsen created seven chances in that Groningen game alone, underlining his role as the link between midfield and attack.
The flip side is ugly: 13 goals conceded in six matches, and not one clean sheet.
Captain Joris Kramer anchors the back line in front of Kjetil Haug, but Oosting is without Gerrit Nauber and Pim Saathof.
Kramer’s passing out from the middle has become a key outlet, with Go Ahead Eagles looking to play through the press rather than around it.
They did start the campaign with that 4-1 win over Willem II, but since then the matches have opened up fast.
