Lecce vs Juventus – Free Serie A Prediction – 25/10/2026

Lecce vs Juventus: no shot on target against Lazio, nine league goals in seven Serie A

Juventus didn’t have a single shot on target in their 3-0 home defeat by Lazio on Sunday. Provstgaard, Isaksen and Dele-Bashiru scored, and afterwards Gleison Bremer accused some of his team-mates of hiding before reportedly apologising.

Luciano Spalletti has kept his job, but the board’s support has been described as temporary in the Italian press, and supporters have started calling for Antonio Conte. Sunday’s trip to Lecce, kick-off 17:00 UK time, is the first league game since that night.

Juventus are eighth with 11 points from seven games. They’ve scored nine league goals and conceded eight, a modest return for a side expected to finish in the top four.

Lecce are 12th on nine points, two behind, and they arrive in better spirits. They won 3-0 at Udinese on the same day, Eusebio Di Francesco’s 200th win as a coach, with Gaspar, N’Dri and Siebert scoring.

The head-to-head is lopsided. Lecce have won one of the last 14 meetings and none of the last six. Juventus won 1-0 at the Via del Mare in May, and four of the last six meetings finished with two goals or fewer.

Juventus also host Rennes in the Europa League on Thursday. With six players out, Spalletti’s squad will be stretched by the time they reach Puglia.

Lecce: 3-0 at Udinese, but two home defeats from three Lecce

The win in Udine was Lecce’s best performance of the season. Two of the three goals came from corners, and two came from defenders, with Siebert scoring in the 86th minute after coming off the bench.

The home form is weaker. Lecce beat Monza 3-2 at the Via del Mare, then lost 4-0 to Roma and 2-1 to Bologna there. They’ve scored four and conceded eight at home in the league.

Away from home they’ve been tighter: two wins and two defeats, five scored and four conceded. They’ve kept two clean sheets all season, at Venezia and at Udinese.

Lameck Coulibaly, joint top scorer with Tiago Gabriel on two goals, is injured. Medon Berisha and Ivan Ilić are also out, and Nikola Štulić is a doubt.

Di Francesco is expected to start Falcone, who has played in each of the last six meetings with Juventus, behind a back four of Veiga, Gaspar, Tiago Gabriel and Gallo. N’Dri, Geubbels and Fatah should make up the front three.

Juventus: Spalletti without Yildiz, Thuram, Locatelli and Conceição Juventus

The injury list is long. Kenan Yıldız, Khéphren Thuram, Manuel Locatelli, Grabara and Ekhator are out, and Francisco Conceição dislocated his shoulder against Lazio.

Locatelli had started each of the last six meetings with Lecce. Without him and Thuram, Spalletti is expected to pair Douglas Luiz and Sarr in central midfield.

Juventus have still kept three clean sheets in the league, and they beat Atalanta 2-0 and Parma 2-0 at home earlier in the season. In the Europa League they won 5-0 against NEC and 2-1 at Celta Vigo on 15 October, where Woltemade and Kolo Muani scored.

Bremer and Edon Zhegrova are their joint top league scorers with two each. Woltemade has scored in both Europa League games and is in contention to start up front.

The expected side has Vicario in goal behind Kalulu, Bremer and Lucumí, with Weston McKennie and Nico González behind Kolo Muani. Some rotation is likely after Thursday’s game against Rennes.

Probable lineup Lecce: Falcone; Veiga, Gaspar, Tiago Gabriel, Gallo; Kaba, Ngom, Maleh; N’Dri, Geubbels, Fatah
Probable lineup Juventus: Vicario; Kalulu, Bremer, Lucumí; Celik, Douglas Luiz, Sarr, Cambiaso; Nico González, McKennie; Kolo Muani

Free Serie A Prediction: Lecce vs Juventus

Our prediction: Under 2.5 goals @ 2.00

Juventus at 1.42 is too short for a side that didn’t test the goalkeeper against Lazio and will be without Yıldız, Locatelli, Thuram and Conceição. The goals market is the better angle.

Four of the last six Lecce-Juventus meetings finished with two goals or fewer. Juventus have scored nine league goals in seven games, and Lecce’s away record of five scored and four conceded doesn’t suggest an open game either. The risk is Lecce’s home defence, which has let in eight in three.

I’d back under 2.5 goals at 2.00. A depleted Juventus side three days after a European night, against a Lecce team that’s won one of 14 meetings, points to a tight game.

About our free predictions

  • What we publish on MathOdds are analyses, nothing more. We share a view, a reading of the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport remains what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a last-minute goal, and the script changes completely.
  • Let’s be clear: there is no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when it looks “obvious”, nothing ever is. And yes, that means you can lose. It’s even inevitable at some point.
  • The smartest approach is to stay reasonable. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Never use money you need to live on. And above all: don’t chase your losses: that rarely ends well.
  • A bet should remain a game, not a job or a source of income. If it starts taking up too much space in your daily life, causes stress or frustration, take a break. And if needed, talk to a support organisation: that’s what they’re there for.
  • Ultimately, responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and will never disappear, no matter how good the analysis.
  • Essential reminder: gambling is prohibited for minors and must comply with the laws of your country. Need help? Visit begambleaware.org.

Information changes

A prediction is always based on what we know at the time of writing. But between publication and kick-off, a lineup can change, a player picks up an injury, the weather turns, and the analysis can quickly be outdated. We cannot be held responsible for that.
