Four goals, 126 seconds
Montreal had it won. Cole Caufield had two power-play goals, Josh Anderson and Owen Beck had added the rest, and Winnipeg was staring at a 4-0 hole with 2:39 left on the clock.
Then Tyrel Bauer scored the first NHL goal of his career. Morgan Barron followed on a 2-on-1 rush. Kyle Connor made it 4-3 just 57 seconds later, and with 33 seconds left he fired from deep in the right circle to tie it. Four goals in 2:06.
Dylan Samberg ended it 3:30 into overtime. Final score: Jets 5, Canadiens 4.

A record that stood since 2007
No NHL team had ever pulled off a four-goal comeback this late in regulation. The old mark belonged to the Los Angeles Kings, who rallied on Nov. 10, 2007 from a deficit that began with 7:14 to play. Winnipeg beat that by almost five minutes.
Jacob Fowler faced 42 shots for Montreal. Stuart Skinner stopped 18 for the Jets, who spent most of the night chasing the game.
What it means for both teams
The result ended a miserable stretch for Winnipeg: a 0-7-2 run over nine games and no win since Oct. 13. Montreal, meanwhile, arrived on a five-game winning streak and walked off with one point from a game it controlled for nearly 58 minutes.
