Iceland head into this one without a win in five, and that run is starting to bite as they open a new Nations League campaign at Laugardalsvollur. It is hardly ideal timing.
Defeats against Argentina and Japan, plus a couple of underwhelming draws, have left the Icelanders searching for their level.
Estonia are not exactly flying either. They did beat Cyprus, but consistency has been in short supply and they are still a long way from looking like a side ready to compete at the sharp end.
In Group 4 of League C, with Bulgaria and Luxembourg also in the mix, this opener already feels like a proper acid test for two teams desperate for a lift.
Iceland need a response at home 
On paper, Iceland are clear favourites on FIFA ranking. On the pitch, though, things are messier, with no win for several months.
The coach is expected to stick with a familiar 4-4-2, using the width to stretch Estonia and feed the front two.
Albert Gudmundsson remains the key man, the player most likely to unlock a stubborn game, with Orri Oskarsson and Isak Johannesson offering support in midfield.
There are still doubts over Andri Fannar Baldursson and Kristian Hlynsson, but the home crowd in Reykjavik will be expecting a big push for three vital points.

Estonia will sit deep and wait 
For Estonia, the plan in Reykjavik is obvious: shut the spaces, absorb the pressure and take whatever chance comes from a transition.
Karl Hein in goal is the main weapon in a back line built around the Paskotsi-Kuusk partnership.
With Vlasiy Sinyavskiy missing from midfield, Estonia will need to keep things tight and disciplined.
Up front, Rasmus Saarma and Oliver Jurgens are unlikely to get many looks, so they will have to make the most of whatever scraps come their way.
A point from this trip would be a strong result for Estonia against an opponent they have not beaten in a long time.
