Another name edging toward the exit
Adrian Meronk has no intention of signing up for LIV 2.0, according to a report from Eurosport. The Pole has not confirmed it himself, and his own words stop short of a clean break, but the direction is clear enough.
The report landed a day after Jon Rahm’s representatives told the bankruptcy court that the proposed LIV 2.0 terms were unacceptable and that the three-time major champion will not take part. Rahm and Meronk both joined the league in late 2023.

A win that changes his options
Meronk, 33, won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship by two strokes last Sunday. It was his fifth DP World Tour title and it earned him full membership for 2027, which is exactly the kind of safety net a LIV player wants while the league sits in Chapter 11.
He was the 2023 European Tour player of the year, so the return path is not a long shot. “It’s a little bit unknown, to be honest,” Meronk said of his future. He added that he kept playing after the LIV season ended to protect his playing rights, and that the Dunhill win “helps a lot.”
For now this is a single-source report, and Meronk says he will need to re-evaluate his goals and schedule. But with Rahm out and the league’s finances in court, the list of marquee names still committed to LIV 2.0 keeps getting shorter.
