Celta Vigo vs Racing Santander: seven matches without a win for a club chasing a sixth-placed finish 
Celta Vigo have failed to win any of their seven competitive matches this season. Four points from six La Liga games leave them 16th in the Spanish top flight.
That start has come as a shock for a club that finished sixth last season. The pressure is building on Claudio Giraldez as the draws keep piling up.
Racing Santander have seven points and sit 10th, three places ahead of their hosts. The newly promoted Cantabrian side are punching above their weight, at least for now, and doing better than a club that was in Europe only a few months ago.
Kick-off is set for Saturday 19 September at 18:30 Paris time at Abanca-Balaidos. It opens the evening programme for this seventh round of fixtures.
Racing are in the top flight for the first time since 2011-2012 after winning the Segunda Division. They have scored 11 goals and conceded 16, including seven in the last round alone.
That hammering at Camp Nou obviously skews the numbers. It does not erase two home wins at El Sardinero against Elche and Alaves.
The head-to-head record leans towards the Cantabrians, with 30 wins to 24 in 71 meetings. But that balance flips at Balaidos, where Celta have won 19 of 35 clashes, compared with seven for their visitors.
So the Galicians go into this one with history on their side and the present working against them. Seven games without a win weighs heavier than a favourable record in the archive.
This is a meeting between a side that hardly loses but never wins and a promoted team that can be brilliant or dreadful depending on the venue.

Celta have four draws and two defeats after six La Liga games. The win column is still blank.
Both of their defeats came at home, against Osasuna (1-2) and Athletic Bilbao (0-2). Balaidos has not been much of a shelter early on.
They then steadied things with three straight draws, at Real Sociedad (0-0), at Getafe (1-1) and against Malaga (1-1). They are harder to beat, but they are not exactly getting anywhere.
Their Europa League trip underlined the same attacking problem, with a 1-0 defeat at Omonia. Seven competitive games, no wins, and the wait goes on.
The scorelines tell the story: the Galicians have found the net only three times in six league matches. Half of their La Liga games have ended with them failing to score.
Ferran Jutgla remains their most reliable focal point up front after scoring against Malaga last time out. The 27-year-old should lead the line again.
Iago Aspas and Andres Antanon are out injured, but the rest of the squad is otherwise available. That is rare enough this season to be worth noting.
Giraldez should bring back Williot Swedberg, Aleix Febas and Hugo Gonzalez, all rested or left out of the starting XI for the European trip. Fresh legs may be one of the few real advantages Celta have on Saturday.

Racing Santander: strong at home, beaten in every away game 
Racing have picked up their seven points at El Sardinero. A 2-2 draw with Villarreal, then wins over Elche (3-2) and Alaves (2-1).
Their away record tells a very different story: three trips, three defeats. Getafe (0-1), Rayo Vallecano (3-2) and Barcelona (7-2) have all beaten them.
Twelve of the 16 goals they have conceded have come on the road. The Catalan shellacking on Wednesday obviously weighs heavily in that total.
Even so, they remain an entertaining side going forward, with 11 goals in six league matches. None of their games has finished with fewer than three goals in total.
Two wins in their last four La Liga outings are a reminder that this promoted side is no automatic relegation pick. They are also sitting in the top half of the table.
Jose Alberto is expected to make major changes to the side that faced Barcelona, with Inigo Vicente, Yassir Zabiri and Jorge Salinas all likely to return. Andre Almeida is also available again after suspension.
Andres Martin is out injured, while Simon Eriksson and Pedro Felipe are doubtful. Racing head into this trip without full defensive certainty against Celta.
The schedule is hardly helping either, coming just three days after a bruising night at Camp Nou. Recovery is a real issue for a squad that is still thin at this level.

Our prediction: Celta Vigo to win
Racing Santander have lost all three of their away matches this season, conceding 12 goals in those games alone. The promoted side have taken no points on the road since the league started.
Celta, by contrast, are unbeaten in their last three league games and get Swedberg, Febas and Gonzalez back for this fixture. Balaidos has also been a decent venue for them over the years, with 19 wins in 35 home meetings against this opponent.
The Cantabrian defence, missing Martin and uncertain in two other positions, arrives three days after shipping seven at Camp Nou. Jutgla has a very winnable game on his hands.
Celta get their first win of the season on Saturday night.
