AS Roma vs Inter Milan : the only two sides with a perfect 12 from 12

At home, they beat Atalanta 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico in round three. That win against a regular top-end side says plenty about the way Roma have started.
In the Champions League, Roma came back from Fenerbahce with a 1-1 draw on 10 September. Bryan Cristante had put them ahead in the 39th minute.
There is one defensive absentee, with Evan Ndicka out. The loss of the Ivory Coast centre-back hits the heart of a back line that has built this record.
The schedule has been kind enough, though: no European game between the trip to Turin and this home fixture. A full week to prepare.

Inter beat Udinese 5-3 at San Siro on Monday 14 September. Carlos Augusto, Nicolo Barella, Marcus Thuram, Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny all scored.
It had started badly for the Nerazzurri, who were 2-0 down after 16 minutes. Abankwah and Ekkelenkamp struck in quick succession.
That same script played out on 5 September against Napoli, when Inter won 3-2 after also falling two goals behind. Two identical recoveries in four rounds.
Inter’s attacking tally now stands at 13 goals, the best in Serie A. Eight of them have come in their last two outings.
The trade-off is at the back: six goals conceded, which is six times Roma’s total. That has been the obvious weak spot early on.
John Stones, signed this summer from Manchester City, went off with a thigh injury on his first start against Udinese. His fitness remains up in the air.
That uncertainty in the middle only makes life harder for a defence that is already the leakiest among the top four. The trip to the Stadio Olimpico comes at a bad time.
The Nerazzurri remain unbeaten despite those two messy afternoons. Neither deficit has cost them a single point.
Five different scorers found the net against Udinese. That spread suggests the threat is not riding on one man alone.
