Dublin is already a distant memory
Two weeks ago, TCU opened the season with a 15-10 loss to North Carolina in Dublin. The offense never found its rhythm after its first two possessions.
Tonight in Fort Worth, the Horned Frogs hung 63 points on Grambling.
Jaden Craig threw for 391 yards, hitting 24 of 31 passes with four touchdowns. He also ran for 53 yards on eight carries. And he did it without Jordan Dwyer, the star receiver, who is still out with a foot injury that also kept him from the trip to Ireland.

The second quarter settled it
The opening minutes gave little away. Major Everhart scored on an 8-yard run on the first drive, then TCU punted and coughed up a fumble on its next two possessions.
The second quarter changed everything. Three drives, three touchdowns. Craig hit Ka’Morreun Pimpton for 28 yards to set up Jon Denman’s 1-yard run at 10:53. Pimpton finished it himself from 9 yards out to make it 21-0.
Grambling hit back. Reginald Johnson, who completed 14 of 20 passes for 190 yards, found Jordan Bride for 62 yards, then connected with Byron Eaton Jr in the end zone after a 91-yard march. It was 21-7 with 4:25 left in the half.
TCU answered straight away. A 76-yard drive in 2 minutes 31 seconds ended with Joe Pitchford scoring from 1 yard out. 28-7 at the break.
The defense took over after halftime
Two interceptions in the second half, including a 67-yard pick-six from Teon Parks. Craig added three more touchdown passes, two of them to Kari Ashley.
Ashley finished with seven catches for 119 yards. Ed Small had five receptions for 101 yards.
Final tally: 676 total yards of offense, with 285 on the ground.
TCU moves to 1-1. Grambling drops to 2-1. The only real question now is what this says about TCU against an FCS opponent, with Big 12 play looming.
