How the lead disappeared
An 8-0 run cut the margin to 105-101 with 5:13 left. The Clippers pushed back to 109-103, then Toronto ran off another 8-0 burst and took a 111-109 lead on a Barnes jumper with 2:08 remaining. The Raptors did not trail again. Quickley’s free throw with 37.4 seconds left made it 119-115 after a foul call was changed on replay to a foul on Max Strus.
Strus made his Clippers debut after recovering from a foot injury and scored 11 points in 23 minutes. Kobe Sanders led Los Angeles with a career-high 26, and Isaiah Jackson had 19 in his first outing off the bench this season. Darius Garland had 16 points and 8 assists but also committed seven of the Clippers’ 15 turnovers.
Toronto improved to 2-3. The Clippers have lost six in a row.
