Zirkzee on course for a return to Italy
One season at Old Trafford, and already the exit door. Joshua Zirkzee could be on his way back to Serie A. Foot Mercato reports that Manchester United and Juventus are closing in on an agreement for the Dutch striker, barely a year after he left Bologna.
Nothing has been signed yet. The two clubs are still working through the final details. But every sign points to a summer departure.

A move that never really got going at Manchester
United paid close to 42 million euros for him in the summer of 2024. He never settled. Competition, injuries, stop-start minutes, his spell in England never took off. At 24, he wants a fresh start.
Serie A he knows well. That is where he built his name in Bologna colours, one full season that put Europe’s biggest clubs on alert. Juventus want that mobile No 9 back, the kind who can play with his back to goal.
Juve make their move
Turin need more firepower up front. Zirkzee ticks plenty of boxes. What is left is nailing down the terms between the two clubs before anyone pictures the Dutchman in black and white stripes.
