Three more years at ESTAC
Troyes announced on Monday that Yvann Titi has extended his contract until 2029. The right-back had been tied down through 2027, so the club has added two more seasons of control over one of its prized assets.
Titi is 20. Born in Strasbourg, he came through the ESTAC academy. Last season he was one of the key figures behind the Ligue 2 title and the club’s return to the top flight. He has made 24 appearances for the first team, 22 of them in the 2025-2026 campaign alone, for 1,559 minutes played.
“A homegrown player, a major part of last season’s title win and much sought after this summer, Yvann Titi keeps on developing in Troyes colours,” the club said in its statement.

A deal Troyes locked down at the right time
The line about him being “much sought after this summer” is not just PR fluff. A 20-year-old right-back, already a Ligue 2 starter and developed by the club, ticks plenty of boxes for French and foreign scouts at the end of the window. With his deal due to run out in 2027, ESTAC could have found itself on the back foot by next winter.
This new contract changes that. Troyes keep him for their first season back in Ligue 1 and buy time to make the next move on their own terms.
The club has been through a long spell in the wilderness. Relegated in 2023, it spent three seasons trying to get back before finally doing it last spring. Keeping hold of the players who drove that promotion is part of the plan.
A steady start
On the pitch, ESTAC opened the season with a 0-0 draw against Paris FC last weekend. One point, no goals conceded, and an early defensive marker for a newly promoted side.
Titi is about to face wingers of a much higher standard than the ones he met in Ligue 2. That is the real test this season, and Troyes now know he will be there for the long haul.
