Agreement reached with Corum FK
Youssoufa Moukoko is set to leave FC Copenhagen. Corum FK have reached an agreement with the Danish club to sign the German forward, according to Turkish reports on Monday.
The player has given the green light. He now has to travel to Turkey for a medical before completing the move.
Corum FK play in the Turkish second division. That is the level the former Borussia Dortmund prodigy is about to discover, six years after making his Bundesliga debut at 16.

From BVB wonderkid to free-fall
Moukoko is 21. For years he was billed as one of Borussia Dortmund and German football’s biggest talents. His youth numbers turned heads, as did his early breakthrough with the BVB first team.
What followed never lived up to the hype. A loan spell at OGC Nice went nowhere. He then left Dortmund for Copenhagen, where the move fizzled out after a few months.
The Germany international has never matched the expectations piled on him. Every stop was meant to kickstart his career. None of them did.
A left-field move
The Turkey switch raises eyebrows, especially at this level. Players with his profile usually end up at a mid-table club in one of Europe’s major leagues.
Moukoko has gone the other way. He is stepping down in search of minutes and a less exposed stage.
At 21, he still has time. Whether Corum turns out to be a launchpad or another pit stop is anyone’s guess.
