Vannes have rented a football stadium for this one
La Rabine was never going to be big enough. For round three of the Top 14, RC Vannes shift Saturday 19 September to Roazhon Park, home of Stade Rennais, with kick-off at 9pm. Close to 30,000 turned up at the same ground last season for the visit of Grenoble.
The gap between the two sides is wide. The Bretons sit 13th on zero points, beaten at Castres 29-20 and then at home by Montpellier 26-12. Toulouse arrive off a statement performance against UBB, 48 points scored with 36 of them in the first half, and sit fourth on six. One thing cuts against the champions, though. This trip lands only six days after that game, so rotation will almost certainly reshape the Rouge et Noir side. The last two meetings were not close: 43-18 and 63-21, both to Toulouse.

Canal+ keeps the Saturday night slot
The game takes the prime-time slot on the competition’s long-standing broadcaster and goes out on the main Canal+ channel. Watch it through the set-top box, on myCanal if you are away from home, or via any provider package that carries the channel. The round’s other five fixtures, set earlier at 2:30pm and 4:35pm, are spread across the Canal+ Live channels.
Schedule subject to change by the competition organisers or the broadcaster.
