Minnesota finds an answer
The Timberwolves needed a response after losing Anthony Edwards to knee surgery, and they got a loud one. Minnesota beat the Los Angeles Clippers 127-101 on Friday night, a 26-point margin that ended a two-game losing streak.
LaMelo Ball led the way with 24 points and seven assists. Jaden McDaniels added 23, and the Wolves never looked like a team missing its leading scorer.

Clippers keep sliding
Darius Garland scored 24 for the Clippers in a losing effort. Los Angeles has now dropped four straight, and this one was never close enough to give the bench much to build on.
For Minnesota, it was the first win since Edwards went down. The Wolves also remain without Donte DiVincenzo, who is out after Achilles surgery, which makes a 127-point night even harder to dismiss.
