Eight games played, eight games won
Nobody has taken a single map off Team Liquid since the LCS Summer Split began. Saturday’s 2-0 sweep of Disguised, on the opening day of week 4, made them the first side in the league to reach four wins, and they sit alone at the top of the table.
LYON can match the record on Sunday. They are second at 3-0, with a game in hand on nobody and plenty to prove.
Josedeodo did most of the damage against Disguised. The Argentinian, whose real name is Brandon Joel Villegas, finished the series with 20 kills, 20 assists and two deaths. That last number is the one worth staring at.

Dignitas found a way to lose from in front
The other match of the day was a scrap. Dignitas took game one against Shopify Rebellion, then lost the next two. Shopify walked away with a 2-1 win and a second straight victory.
Bvoy, the South Korean whose real name is Ju Yeong-hoon, topped the match with 14 kills. Shopify Rebellion move to 3-1 and hold third place on their own, at least until Sunday’s results land.
At the other end of the table, Dignitas are still hunting a first win after four matches. Disguised are in the same hole, with one game won out of nine played.
Two teams go home, and the format decides it fast
Eight teams have been in the LCS Summer Split since July 25. Seven weeks of round-robin play, everyone facing everyone once, best-of-three throughout.
Where you finish is everything. The top two skip straight to the playoff semifinals. Third through sixth start in the quarterfinals. The bottom two are done.
Playoffs run September 12 to October 4, best-of-five, double elimination. Three teams come out of it with a ticket to the World Championship, which moves between New York, Los Angeles and Allen, Texas from October 15 to November 14. Week 4 closes on Sunday with Cloud9 against FlyQuest and LYON against Sentinels.
