Rugby: Stade Francais extend prop Jack Iscaro to 2030

From medical joker to 2030

Jack Iscaro is staying in Paris. Stade Français announced on Wednesday morning that the American loosehead prop has extended his contract by three years, through 2030.

He is 29. He turned up a year ago as a medical joker, which is a short-term signing to cover an injury, and made himself hard to leave out. Paul Gustard’s squad used him 17 times last season, eight of them as a starter.

A regular this season

Iscaro has played four games for the club since the new campaign began, three of them in the starting fifteen. In July he also featured in three Nations Championship matches for the United States.

That mix of club minutes and Test rugby explains the new deal. Stade Français have decided not to let a former stand-in walk.
