Twenty-one minutes to turn it around
Marco Reus came on in the 59th minute with Los Angeles Galaxy trailing 2-1 at Minnesota. He left the pitch celebrating a 3-2 win.
The German set up Joao Klauss in the 76th minute first. A long diagonal from the left touchline slipped between several defenders. Klauss, back to goal and under pressure, flicked it on with his head. His first goal since March 22 for the Brazilian, who was making only his second appearance after foot surgery.
Four minutes later, Reus finished the job. He found space in the middle of the box and stretched out his left foot to meet a long ball from Lucas Calegari. His seventh goal of the season, and his third in the last four matches.

An away run that finally ends
Galaxy (8-10-9, 33 points) had gone five road games without a win. This was only their third victory in the last 12 league matches. Los Angeles had not scored more than two goals in a game since the 3-0 win over Charlotte on February 28.
The California club climbs to eighth in the Western Conference, one point ahead of Portland. Nothing is settled yet, but the door is still open.
Pablo Ruiz had put them in front in the 12th minute from the penalty spot after Anthony Markanich fouled Kyogo Furuhashi. Left-footed strike over the wall and under the bar, before Drake Callender could even react.
Minnesota collapse at the worst possible time
The Loons had taken control, though. Marcus Caldeira equalised in the 23rd minute with a header in the middle of the box from a perfectly weighted cross by Wil Trapp. Seven minutes later, Kelvin Yeboah converted a penalty awarded for a foul by Jakob Glesnes, sending Marcinkowski the wrong way. It was the striker’s third straight match with a goal.
Minnesota (7-11-8, 29 points) are now 0-4-1 in their last five outings. They are below the cutoff line and four points adrift of Galaxy.
JT Marcinkowski made three saves for Los Angeles, Callender two at the other end. Not much for the goalkeepers to do, plenty for a 37-year-old substitute to sort out.
