Raiders Refuse To Blink

The Numbers And The Diagnosis
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media confirmed the fracture and reported Bech has a chance to return later this season once he heals. Through the first two games, Bech had produced 5 catches for 48 yards and a touchdown, a steady complementary role in an offense now scoring at a pace nobody projected out of Las Vegas after a rough 2025.
Sunday’s trip to New Orleans carried extra weight for Bech. It marked his first time playing in the city since his brother was killed there in a terrorist attack on New Year’s Day 2025. He took the field anyway, then left it early with a fracture that ends his availability for weeks.
What Las Vegas Loses
Losing Bech thins a receiving room that already leans on a small rotation behind the top targets. The Raiders stay unbeaten and keep their spot atop the AFC West standings, but they do it now without one of the players who helped build the 3-0 start, a start that has already erased the memory of last year’s three-win finish.
No corresponding roster move has been announced. Bech is expected to have further imaging done this week to confirm the exact recovery timeline.
