Nashville takes control

The Nashville Predators beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-1 on Tuesday and stopped a six-game points streak in the process.

Saros steadies the ship

Juuse Saros made 29 saves and gave the Hurricanes little to work with. Pyotr Kochetkov stopped 16 shots at the other end, but Nashville’s depth scoring did the damage.

Carolina’s only goal came from Jackson Blake, a lone answer that ended the visitors’ run of games with at least a point.
