2031. That is the date on the new contract, and it means Ronan O’Gara could end up spending twelve seasons in the same technical area. La Rochelle have tied down their head coach for another five years.
He arrived in 2019 and never looked for the exit. The club has spent that whole stretch living through the best rugby it has ever played.
“My family and I are very happy and very proud to continue this adventure with Stade Rochelais,” he said. “We have lived through some exceptional moments and also gone through tougher times together. In every one of them, I have felt the club’s trust and the support of our fans.”
