Shaheed’s knee: early news is good
Seattle won big on Sunday night and still came out of it counting casualties. Rashid Shaheed left in the first half of the 20-3 win over Kansas City after two catches for one yard. On Monday, coach Mike Macdonald told 93.3 KJR the early returns on the knee were positive.
Whether Shaheed can play against the Bears on Monday, Nov. 2 is still unclear. The 28-year-old has 16 catches for 163 yards and a touchdown this season, plus 39 rushing yards. He also returns kicks and punts, averaging 27.3 yards per kick return and 11.5 per punt return, which is why his absence would hit the Seahawks in more than one phase.

Cross out, Price nearing a return
The bigger worry may be on the offensive line. Left tackle Charles Cross is expected to miss time with a high ankle sprain, according to NFL Network, and Seattle hopes he is back in one or two weeks. Cross, 25, has started 69 games since the Seahawks drafted him ninth overall in 2022.
There is a bright spot in the backfield. Running back Jadarian Price, the 32nd overall pick, becomes eligible to come off injured reserve this week. He ran for 119 yards in Seattle’s first three games before a chest injury kept him out of the next four.
