Brobbey leaves the squad with an injury
Brian Brobbey will not see out the camp. The Sunderland forward picked up an injury on Thursday night in the first half of the 1-1 draw between the Netherlands and Germany. He came off before half-time. The Dutch federation confirmed the news on Friday on its official account.
Joshua Zirkzee has been called up to replace him in the squad. The Manchester United forward joins the national side just days before a key fixture. “Get well soon, Brian. Joshua Zirkzee takes your place in our squad,” the federation wrote on social media.
