Petar Musa did not need his stronger foot. In the 73rd minute on Sunday night in Austin, the Croatian shifted the ball onto his left to lose his marker, then drilled it from the edge of the box. Off the post, in. Brad Stuver never moved. FC Dallas won 2-1.
Goal number 14 of his MLS season. That puts him clear at the top of the scoring charts, ahead of Nicolas Fernandez of New York City and Hugo Cuypers, who has left Chicago for Monterrey. It was also his second in as many starts across all competitions.

It bought them nothing. The Verde were outshot 15-9, and 6-3 on target. Third straight league defeat under interim head coach Davy Arnaud. At 4-10-5 and 17 points, the play-off math gets uglier every week.
