Ligue 1: Marseille vs PSG, kick-off time and TV channel for Le Classique

Three days after Istanbul, Marseille get PSG

Marseille were in Turkey on Thursday night for their Europa League opener. On Sunday evening they host Paris Saint-Germain. That is the schedule they have been handed, and it is not a kind one.

Le Classique closes round five at the Velodrome on Sunday 20 September, kick-off 8:45pm. Ligue 1 saves that Sunday-night slot for the fixtures that pull the biggest audience, and no game in France pulls harder than this one. Paris come into it with a clearer week behind them. Freshness gaps tend to announce themselves somewhere around the 75th minute.

The weekend starts on Friday night with Monaco against Lens and runs through to Nice hosting Lille at 5:15pm on Sunday, before the main event.

Ligue 1+ owns the evening

The game is on Ligue 1+, which took the bulk of the league’s rights from the 2025-2026 season. You can reach it through the DAZN app, Prime Video Channels, Molotov, RMC Sport and the set-top boxes of the four main French operators. A live subscription is needed. Nothing is going out free-to-air. Replays open up to subscribers not long after the whistle.

Schedule subject to change by the competition organisers or broadcaster.
