Another Welshman in Manchester
Twenty years old. Ten clean sheets last season. And now, a Manchester United shirt.

The loan that changed everything
He spent the year out of the spotlight. On loan at Connah’s Quay Nomads. Thirty-four matches, ten games without conceding. Enough to catch United’s eye.
The keeper has also had a taste of international football. A Wales Under-21 international, he made his debut against Belarus last March.
A bet on the future
United are piling up goalkeepers. Margetson arrives to develop, not to walk straight into the side. This is a long-term punt.
