Ligue 1: PSG shut their summer window after €152m of spending

Done, or almost

19h59. That is the deadline, and PSG have already stopped listening to agents pitching forwards.

According to RMC Sport, the capital club has shut the door on incoming transfers for good. One last push went in on Tuesday for an attacking player. It went nowhere.

The exit door is another story. It stays open a crack for a handful of unwanted names, and those deals tend to accelerate in the final hours.

Five signings, and not one galactico

The summer spend lands at 152 million euros. Maghnes Akliouche, Mika Godts, Ferran Torres, Lucas Digne and Alessandro Longoni make up the Paris haul.

Hefty, sure. Outrageous for a club of this size, no. What the list says about the plan matters more than the number itself: attacking options stacked up, one experienced full-back brought in to steady the left side, and nobody signed for a fortune purely to move shirts. Luis Enrique asked for depth. He got depth.

The real money moved the other way

Bradley Barcola to Liverpool, 145 million euros. Ibrahim Mbaye to Aston Villa, 55 million. Two academy graduates, two enormous profits, one summer.

Nobody at the club is pretending this is an accident. Develop them, throw them in young, cash out when the market loses its head. Luis Enrique has leaned on club-trained players in his rotation for two seasons running while the accountants collect at the other end.

A few hours remain. Nothing is coming in. Something might still go out.
