Ligue 1 2026-2027 schedule: PSG host Rennes, Marseille start at home
The 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season kicks off on the weekend of 21 August. The LFP on Wednesday unveiled the opening fixtures, with Paris Saint-Germain against Rennes at the Parc des Princes and Marseille facing Strasbourg at the Velodrome.
Lyon begin away to Toulouse, while Monaco travel to Le Havre. Lens host Auxerre and Nice welcome Lorient.
One of the stories of the opening round is Le Mans, back in Ligue 1 after 16 years away. The Sarthe club will start against Brest. Troyes, the other promoted side, take on Paris FC.
PSG-OM as early as September
The first Classique of the season is set for the weekend of 20 September, in round five. A little more than a month later, Lens and Lille will meet again in the north.
Before the winter break, Lyon and Marseille will also go head to head in round 14. The league then pauses in mid-December before restarting in early January.
