Keenum steadies Chicago
Case Keenum got the start and made it count. The veteran quarterback finished 24 of 34 for 247 yards, threw touchdown passes of 8 yards to Luther Burden and 41 yards to Kalif Raymond, then pushed in a 1-yard score in the fourth quarter to seal Chicago’s 27-7 win over Philadelphia on Monday Night Football.
It was the 67th start of Keenum’s career, and the Bears leaned on him the way they would a proven starter. Chicago piled up 375 yards and held the ball for 36:53. Raymond led the receiving group with six catches for 90 yards, while Burden caught seven for 61.

Eagles stall on third down
Philadelphia never found a rhythm. The Eagles converted just 2 of 9 third downs and finished with 248 total yards. Their only points came on the final play of the first half, when Jalen Hurts punched in a tush push touchdown to make it 10-7 Chicago at the break. The second half belonged to the Bears.
Hurts went 16 of 25 for 153 yards and threw an interception. DeVonta Smith caught six passes for 65 yards, and Saquon Barkley ran 15 times for 82 yards, but neither could tilt the field against a Chicago defense that kept Philadelphia off the scoreboard after halftime.
What it means
Both teams now sit at 2-1. For Chicago, the win came without a settled quarterback situation, and Keenum’s steady night buys the staff a little breathing room as the week turns. There is one worry: left tackle Braxton Jones was listed as questionable to return with a knee injury, and the Bears will wait on more news about how serious it is. For Philadelphia, the offense has plenty to sort out after a night of stalled drives.
