“I got back up”

Pirotton suggested there were psychological cracks in Fisher’s game. The Romford Bull wasn’t buying it.

“Look at my last fight. If I had mental fragility, I wouldn’t have got back up to win in the fourth round,” Fisher told Sky Sports, pointing to his hard-fought win over Ivan Balaz, a fight where he had to dig deep just to turn things around.

“The best version is still coming”

Fisher isn’t just playing defense here. He says there’s more in the tank. “The best version of Johnny Fisher, the Romford Bull, is still to come,” he said.

Saturday will show whether the talk lines up with what happens under the lights.
