Seventeen minutes that broke Napoli
Everything that mattered on Sunday night happened between the 17th and the 34th minute. Como won 2-1 at the Diego Armando Maradona in round two of Serie A, and the scoreline barely covers how loud a result it was for the Lariani.
Martin Baturina struck first on 17 minutes. Rasmus Hojlund hauled Napoli level on the half hour. Four minutes later Anastasios Douvikas put Como back in front, and that was the last time anybody scored.
The remaining hour belonged to Napoli in terms of the ball. It produced nothing.

Fabregas gets the better of Allegri

Douvikas got the winner and is making a case that this attack can lean on him. Baturina keeps turning up in the right pockets of space too. Como bought the Croatian to create for others, and he keeps finishing instead.
Hojlund scored again for Napoli. He is still the only genuine threat they have, which is the problem rather than the compliment it sounds like.
A fortress that was not one
Napoli have dropped points at home in their second league fixture of the year. The Maradona has spent recent seasons being described as impregnable. Not on Sunday.
Como take away rather more than three points. Beating anyone in Naples travels around the league quickly. Whether the rest of the season backs it up is another matter, but nobody in Lombardy is talking about survival this week.
