Three words, no detail
“I’m coming home.” Bryson DeChambeau posted that line to his Instagram account earlier today and left it there. The specifics, he said, arrive in an announcement at 1 p.m. ET on Monday.
The two-time U.S. Open champion turned 33 on Wednesday. He has not held PGA Tour membership since June 2022, when he signed with LIV Golf on a four-year-plus deal worth more than $125 million.

LIV’s bankruptcy sits behind it
The timing invites one reading. LIV Golf filed for Chapter 11 on September 8, and DeChambeau is reportedly owed $5.8 million by the league. He joins a list of high-profile players who now rank as creditors rather than employees.
His absence from this week’s Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club outside Chicago shows what LIV membership currently costs. The event’s eligibility rules lock LIV players out of the United States team, so one of the biggest draws in American golf spends the week off the course.
What Monday has to answer
DeChambeau named no tour, no timeline and no terms. A PGA Tour return is the obvious guess, and it stays a guess until 1 p.m. ET.
One complication is worth flagging. PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp said on Tuesday that the tour had no plans to open additional pathways back for LIV members. Whatever DeChambeau announces will either fit around that position or force a change to it.
