Nine at home without a win
Minnesota United’s home record has turned into a number the Loons cannot shift. Wednesday night in Saint Paul made it nine matches without a win at their own ground, four defeats and five draws, and FC Dallas walked off with the points thanks to a goal six minutes from time.
Santiago Moreno scored it. Samuel Sarver found him at the top of the box with nobody closing, Moreno carried the ball a few yards and drove a right-footed shot into the left corner for his third of the season.
The pattern behind the scoreline is older than the scoreline itself. Minnesota have now conceded the opening goal in six consecutive matches and in 13 of their last 14.

Kaick keeps scoring, Musa keeps watching
Dallas opened in the 62nd minute through Kaick, the Brazilian midfielder finding the net for the second match running and the third time this season. Joaquin Valiente built it, dragging three defenders across the right side of the box before rolling the ball back towards the penalty spot for a right-footed finish into the far corner. The assist was Valiente’s 11th of the campaign.
Kaick had blazed a left-footed effort over the crossbar seven minutes earlier, so the timing mattered. Three minutes after his goal, Ramiro nearly doubled the lead from the middle of the box, only for Morris Duggan to clear the ball off the goal line.
Dallas did all of this without Petar Musa, who shares the MLS scoring lead and sat out with an upper-body injury.
Yeboah’s run is the one thing working
Kelvin Yeboah levelled in the 73rd minute, following up his own shot after it bounced back off the left post and drilling a left-footed finish into the left corner. It was his 12th goal of the year and his fourth in four matches, close to the only thing going right for Minnesota at the moment. Drake Callender made three saves behind him and still ended up picking the ball out of his net twice.
Jonathan Sirois needed a single save to see out the win at the other end. Dallas climb to 40 points from a record of 11-6-7, sit 4-1-1 across their last six and have won seven of their 14 road matches. Minnesota stay on 29 points from 7-9-8, with a home ground that has stopped helping them.
