41 kills from ZywOo, and Vitality still went home
Vitality are out of BLAST Open Fall 2026. MOUZ beat them 2-0 in the Porto semi-finals.
Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut was the best player on the server by some distance: 41 kills, 27 deaths. Nobody around him came close to matching that. Lotan “Spinx” Giladi went 40-28 for MOUZ and Adrian “xelex” Vincze added 39-29.
Dust II went 13-11. Mirage went 13-7. Vitality had won four straight playoff series coming in.
Try it for $0.99.
Spirit needed just as little time
Same scoreline in the other semi. Team Spirit swept Team Falcons.
Nuke first, 13-8, then Ancient, 13-11. Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov finished 33-23. Danil “donk” Kryshkovets put up a bigger raw number at 34-30. Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov took 39 kills for Falcons and none of it mattered.
Sunday’s final is a best-of-five.
What the winners actually take home
The Counter-Strike 2 stop in Porto is playing for $1.1 million. Sixteen teams arrived, split across two double-elimination groups.
Winning a group meant a direct route to the semi-finals, which is how MOUZ and Team Spirit skipped the quarters. Second and third place had to grind through the extra round. Everyone below that was already gone.
The champions collect $250,000, split $150,000 to the players and $100,000 to the organization, plus three BLAST Frequent Flyer Tokens. The runners-up take $160,000. Vitality and Falcons split third and leave with $115,000 apiece.
