Cutter Boley did most of the damage: 387 yards and six touchdown passes in his first game as a Sun Devil.
The junior came over from Kentucky. He went 21 of 27 and was on the bench after the opening series of the third quarter, by which point the school record for passing yards in a debut had already been erased.

Three receivers past 100, and two of them were finished by halftime
Reed Harris: six catches, 137 yards, two scores. Grayson Rigdon, a running back by trade, turned two receptions into 110 yards and two more touchdowns. Omarion Miller led everyone with eight grabs for 102.
Harris and Miller did all of it before the break.
Boley has the job because Sam Leavitt left for LSU after two years in Tempe. Leavitt won his own debut a few hours earlier in Baton Rouge. Two quarterbacks, two new teams, one Saturday night. Arizona State did not spend much of it missing him.
Morgan State lasted about four minutes
Three and out to start. Kyson Brown then broke a 46-yard run on the second snap of the reply drive. Carson Smith recovered an onside kick. Five plays after that, Boley hit Miller from 10 yards.
Another three and out for the Bears, then a fourth-down gamble that went nowhere. Marquis Gillis went 25 yards through the middle. It was 21-0 with 6:15 still on the first-quarter clock.
Morgan State did respond, moving 75 yards in four plays, Jordan Barnett scoring from two out at 4:20. Harris answered from 28 yards inside two minutes. 28-7 after one.
The Bears had opened their season with a 17-7 win over North Carolina A&T. Cameron Edge went 6 of 15 for 54 yards here. Marquez Spells led the rushing with 39 yards, all of it on a single carry.
