Dortmund enter the race
And that offer may be arriving. Sky Germany are reporting interest from Borussia Dortmund in the form of another loan.
Arsenal were hoping for something else. The Gunners wanted a sale, a fee, and a clean break rather than lining up a second season of education away from home. The German angle changes the picture, because a loan is quicker to arrange than a permanent deal and time is running out fast.
A few hours to decide
Nothing is done yet. Not on the English side, not on the German side.
But when a club the size of BVB makes its move in the closing hours of a window, the talk usually does not stop there. The question now is whether Nwaneri, who wanted to stay, sees the Ruhr as tempting enough to change his mind.
