Dallas beat Connecticut 97-71 in Arlington overnight, and the first quarter told you how it would go. The Wings led 32-18 at the first break, 60-47 at half, then opened the third with a 23-12 run that pushed it to 83-59. Garbage time arrived early.
Arike Ogunbowale had 18. Jessica Shepard went for 17 and 10 boards. Paige Bueckers scored 15, every one of them before the interval. Maddy Siegrist gave them 11 off the bench. When four players hit double figures against a team that cannot get stops, the margin looks after itself.
